After being on a wonderful day out with Blaine yesterday the question today is

When was the last time you went on a date, either with someone new, or do you have a regular dae night with your partner?

We don't have a regular date night (we've been together almost 22 years), but we DO take advantage of the evenings when our daughter has a sleepover at a friend's house! I guess our last "date" was in May on our 17th wedding anniversary which was on a sleepover-away weekend. My husband and I went to a fancy-pants Italian restaurant and later stoked a fire, in the fireplace of course, when we got home.

Our last date was in June for our anniversary.  I wish we had a more regular date night on the calendar; but I prefer my parents babysit and with my step-dad's work schedule its hard.  Fortunately I have a babysitter lined up for a wedding in a few weeks.

We used to go out every Friday night. We can't afford that anymore. The last time we went out was on my birthday (August 6) and it was only because I had a coupon for my dinner free so it was cheap.

We don't really have a date night per se, but sometimes we'll go to a restaurant for dinner. Not often anymore.

But we'll have an occasional movie night, where I'll make some appetizers that we'll munch on while we're watching a couple movies that we've rented. It's something we do at home, so it's not really a night out as such, but it's OK for us.
