I'm thrilled to announce this month's Picture of the Month, because we have a real mega-prize for the winner! Please take a minute to read the rules, as they are slightly different this month.

Tired of having to scoop poop everyday? Ever dreamed of a self-cleaning automated litter box? Now's your chance to get your own Litter-Robot!

Litter-Robot II Bubble Beige valued at $359.99

The theme for this month is: Litter Boxes, Litter and cats.

We're looking for pictures featuring your litter boxes, your litter box routine or your cats in/by/near the litter box. The best would be pictures revealing your current litter box situation to show us that YOU truly need to upgrade to the Litter-Robot ;)

Don't forget to scoop after you take that picture, because until you get that Litter-Robot, you still have to slave away at it and make sure your cats have a clean litter box.

Submissions will be accepted through Friday, August 24th.

The Rules:

  1. Choose the best picture you have for our monthly theme and post it to this thread.
  2. Describe your picture - let us know the name of the cat and why you think this is a great picture for the contest (hint: it would be nice to know why you think the Litter-Robot could solve your litterbox woes...)
  3. Please mention your location as well (i.e. USA, Canada, UK etc). Unfortunately, we can only have prize winners from within the 50 United States and DC. Anyone can submit, but only members located in the US will be eligible for the prize.
  4. Image needs to be clear and not too small. 480 pixels high by 640 pixels wide minimum should be a good enough size. Smaller pictures could be disqualified.
  5. One submission per member please

This is my favorite litter box photo.

Monet (tuxedo) and Picasso always has to share the box, even though they have another one that's bigger. They enjoy going together.. and two cats sharing one box like this? Makes it difficult to keep up after them!

and great prize! Thank you, Litter-Robot[emoji]8482[/emoji]!

Nothing like having a litter box in the middle of the living room, but in my small Okinawan apartment there was nowhere else to put it. Here's baby Aya (now nearly 4yrs) using hers. I now live in VT and we have 3 boxes!

My little guys and kit-kat all agree the smells emitting from the kitty litter are awful! too bad mommy spends all day busy with them that getting around to scooping the kitty litter is sometimes a task undone. Please help us with our smelly dilemma!!! Thank you for the chance. I reside in the U.S. & thank you litter robot for sponsor

Bella & Max's litter box is quite a mess.  They seem to love to use toilet paper, any brand.  There isn't any other spot for their box and it happens to be near the roll of paper.   They are Florida cats.

Our litter box is in the closet.  Garth likes to sleep on the shelf above the litter box.  Because of this, my husband's clothes usually end up in the litter box.  We live in Maryland.

Simba Yim is very sensitive to the odor of his own business. Immediately after using the box, he goes on a mission to find someone to scoop it up. The Litter-Robot would save him the trouble!

This photo captures his "Scoop my box already and stop taking pictures!" View media item 128745

Right now our litter box is 2 cookie sheet pans due to Sylvester having foot surgery...they are easier for him to get in. Would love to have the Little Robot after he is healed.

This is Louis (pronounced Lew-ee), from New York. Louis has to compete with Ely, our 7 week old baby, these days and he feels a little neglected (it might take 2 whole days for me to get around to clean the pee from his litter box), so to punish us he likes to poop and pee on the litter box or around it... he might also be a bit too big for this specific "smart cat" box... so having the Litter-Robot to clean up after Louis would be the perfect solution both for Louis and for us! It's been a constant struggle and it's much more difficult since Ely came into our life.

Piper and Pepper would love if their litter box could be back inside again. Even with regular scooping, the small California apartment they live in easily gets overwhelmed from the litter smell of two kitties. A Litter-Robot would be a savior for both Piper and Pepper - and their cat guardians!

Though my two Texas boys (Eko, front and Leo) love "helping" with box cleaning day, it is a chore I would gladly turn over to the Litter Robot.  The box would always be ready to pass their sniff test.

Welcome Stacey! I hope you take a minute to introduce yourself and your kitties in the New Cats on the Block forum. Just wanted to mention that we also have a rescue forum where people who volunteer at shelters and do rescue work exchange knowledge and ideas.
