Rock-a-Bye Turtle Dove

I have a big rocker/recliner in my living room that is so cozy. I don't know why I don't sit in it more often. After what happen today I'm sure I will!

I was waiting for a delivery earlier today and decided to sit in the chair since it's over by the window. I don't know what room Turtle was in, but she always seems to sense it when I make any kind of movement AND has to come investigate.

She saw me in the recliner and jumped right up in my lap. I thought it was because it was easy access to the window. This wasn't the case.

She rolled over on her back--tummy up and just laid there. She gave me this come hither kind of look.

I started doing what any good mama would do and began to rock her. It was so incredibly touching. Her little purrs melted into a soft snore. 

I know I haven't given any updates on her, but my house is full of life and love because she's in it.

I got to graduate from kissing  her head to rubbing noses with her--when she's in the mood, of course.

So now our favorite piece of furniture is our recliner, which I now call Our Bonding Chair.

I'm so glad that you and Turtle are bonding like you are. There is nothing more special than when a cat trusts you enough to be their special person.

I wish you would post pictures of pretty Turtle. I would love to see that pretty girl again.

Isn't it wonderful to have someone who loves you and trusts you as much as Turtle.  I have been wondering how you both were doing.
