The storm pics

We had a nice storm this early afternoon. heavy rain, wind and hail. almost hurricane like for half an hour!

Thought I'd show some pics of the damage. Poor squirrel too (last pic)

I think it was in shock and scared. It didn't move when I got that close to the tree. It's tail was twitching so I know it was alive. I wasn't going to stick my hand in that tree to see if it was ok, I didn't have any protection with me

Holy crap! That was one major storm!! Glad you made it through it ok. I'm guessing you still have power? Those lightening strikes were severe! We had a few trees around our house struck by lightening and it is terrifying. The worst I can remember is when the tree across the road from us was struck. You always hear that your hair will stand on end when lightening is near....well, it did, and it woke me out of a sound sleep.

AW - yeah - poor little squirrel. WOW that is a ton of rain all at once.

Someone said that a little tornado went through the area, I can't find confirmation on that. whoops
