I have a nine hour trip ahead of me, I'm moving with two double coated cats in a car with no AC in 107 degree weather.  It's going to be super stressful as it is but does anyone have any tips on how to keep them comfortable/not freaked out?  I thought about bathing them before going and keeping the window down  so that the air and their wet fur would keep them cool - they do love baths but I don't know if that would make them more miserable or not.  And I don't really want to throw a wet towel down in the carrier because it will just get warm underneath them and they don't like wet things on their paws.  Not really sure what to do.

I would not bathe them and then expose them to draught. It might cause pneumonia and you don't want that.

Get yourself some cool packs and wrap these in towels. Place these in their cage in such a way that they can choose to lie on them or not. Try to drive at night when it is cooler.

very good advice. and to add to this, you can get the ice blankets (covered) which would be easier to lie on:
