Hey everyone!
A little bit about me, I'm a college student, I've flipped majors quite a bit. I've been bouncing between 2, Nursing and Animal Science. I'm leaning more towards Animal Science.
I'm from the midwest.
I've owned cats all my life, I've even had 4 litters, accidenal, but all kittens found great homes.
Currently I only have one cat, and he is in my avatar. His name is J.D. which is short for John Deere. He got that name since his eyes are yellow and green, and the man I got him from got him off a farm.
J.D. came into my life after the family cat of 13+ years had to be put to sleep after a tramatic accident. The house wasn't the same without a cat, so after looking on CL I found a guy in my area who had a kitten he needed to re-home. His co-worker found 2 kittens on her farm. She decided to keep one, but needed to find a home for the other, so he took him in temp. until he could find a good home. My BF and I went to look at the kitten, and at first he was quite shy, but came around to me pretty quick. Since then, he's been my best friend. He thinks he's a dog instead of a cat. He knows quite a few tricks, and even drinks out of the toilet. He's got quite the personality and is a bit of a character. He always knows how to make me laugh and even likes to cuddle with me when I'm upset. He just turned 2 a few months ago, so I'm looking to spend many more years with him(:
