Weird! Why not junk food, cigarettes, alcohol, SUVs, or something else whose consumption/use should be limited?

This reminds me of the time that California was going to try to ban anything that runs on diesel fuel. They didn't care that prices would rise because trucks and trains wouldn't be able to enter the state but, when the Gucci liberals found out that they'd have to give up their Mercedes, that notion was dropped like a hot potato!

Its doubtful that this thing will pass. These fuzzy-thinking do-gooders want all of these social programs but they want someone else to pay for them.

Because in this state, you can't begin to fathom how many small business selling espresso that there are - so they see a quick buck to be made, the survival of the small business person, be danged.

Think the Boston Tea Party was notable...Seattle will have a real wake up call if they tax espresso! It will actually be great for every small business coffee stand outside the city limits...and I expect more travel cups will be sold
