Tippy has been sneezing (sort of a snort sound sneeze if you know what I mean) for a few days.   Just as a precation I made an appointment with the vet for tomorrow morning.   I'm sure it's nothing, but don't want to take any chances with my little baby.  She's so precious and special to me.

My Nina has that problem, we all think it's allergies, so the vet has her on Flovent, it seems to work. Nina was having sneezing fits, so we had to do more than L-Lysine. I'm sure Tippy will be just fine.

Yes I think it's allergies too, but don't want to take a chance.   If we sneeze, cough, etc. we don't rush to the dr.  But let the cat show one sign of anything unusual and I panic.  She's not going to be too thrilled with me.  The carrier is sitting here in the office, but I don't think she has made the connection  yet.    My first cat, Boots, used to run if he saw the carrier.

BooBoo has some nasty allergies going on, too. Coughing, sneezing, and the nose-stuff flying all over the place. I just want to place a tissue over the poor guy's nose and say, "Blow!"
He's been to the vet and they think it's just really bad allergies. So bad that he gets two shots about three times a year now: one is an antibiotic shot, the other is a steroid. He won't take pills or liquid meds, so shots have to be the way to go for him.

Good luck with Miss Tippy!

Yep - been hearing some sneezing from Perkins. We just opened up the windows after such a hot summer, I think it might be some allergies too. Bumped him up on the L-Lysine. Good luck with Tippy :rub: :vibes::vibes:

How is Tippy?

A couple days ago I was walking into the bedroom and heard sneezing.  Poor Abby was on the bed and sneezed about 5 or 6 times in a row.  I think it was just dust because I have been home most of the time since and haven't heard her sneeze since.

But like you, every out of the ordinary sound I hear from them, gives me cause to panic.

Saw the vet today.     He said it is most likely allergies - gave us some antibiotic pills - 1/2 pill twice a day.     Also as long as we were there she was due for her shots so we took care of  that.   She was so good at the dr's office --- Miss Friendly wanted to see everything going on.  Except when she got her shot - she yelped and hissed at the dr!     Oh and in his office he had 2 kitties up for adoption. They looked so much like Tippy that they could have been her babies!     I just fell in love with them --- but we don't need any more cats.

Thanks everyone for your concern - and Tippy says thank  you too!
