Better idea for the day than work :-/

I get to come home for an hour for lunch, which sometimes is great some days just makes me not want to go back........this is one of those days.  It's cool, cloudy and drizzly here and I think instead of working today we should just all take a couple of hours to curl up on the couch with our kitties   now that would make for a great Monday afternoon........ahh if only.  Cats are way ahead of me, except I get the impression they don't care if I have to go back or not they are napping with or without me!   I get that look like "just hit the lights on your way out" LOL  Oh well back at it, hope everyone has a great day even if you have to spend it at work.  Just know your cats are thinking of you as they stretch out all cozy, they feel for ya I'm sure.  yeah right

LOL!  I could never come home for lunch when I worked outside the home...it would be like that for me every day!  My DH used to come home sometimes if I was home.  I love those days.

It's a drizzly, grey morning....one of those mornings where I dearly wanted to just stay in bed for awhile instead of coming into work. When I left, there were five cats in the bed, all snuggled in. Tabby was in the window cat seat and Whisper was sitting on the bureau in the bedroom. It wouldn't have taken much for me to chuck it all and get back into bed!

Whenever we had a kitten in the house, the first month or so that she was out of the computer room and hanging out with the big kitties, I'd go home over lunch, just to make sure everybody was OK. After a month or so, though, I'd just stay at work over lunch and go for my walk. If I could spend my lunch hour at home, I'd have trouble coming back into work.
