I live so close to my grocery store that I find myself over there practically every other day! I don't plan my meals for the week - usually daily. We do go to Costco twice monthly if needed and that is a bigger shopping ordeal. :wavey:

Usually every week or so. Grocery shopping here involves 30 miles there and the same 30 back, so it isn't a trip to be made daily or even a couple of times a week and I also hate shopping. .

generally once a week to stock up on the essentials (milk, eggs, soda and so forth),

but I usually go in every other day to pick up the makings for dinner. I usually decide what I want for dinner at work, and stop by the store to pick up the ingredients. One of the benefits of living alone, lol

We go to Costco about once a month (it's a 40-minute drive away) and to our regular grocery store about once a week using the car to carry the heavy stuff. During the week if I need something I walk to our grocery store about 3 blocks away, or sometimes take the bus downtown where there are specialty stores, bakeries, and a pet supply store.

In the summer, if we have meat in the freezer, I can get by during the week with the fresh stuff from our garden: lettuce, artichokes, squash, potatoes; and strawberries, rhubarb, raspberries and apples in a pie or crumble for dessert.

I live with my family now so my mom does a lot of the grocery shopping I'd say 1-2 times per week, but I also have a lot of dietary restrictions that my Mom can't keep straight so I do my own gluten free shopping at the health food stores every other week or so. Some Gf items are great tohers are terrible and she jsut can't seem to remember which brands I'll eat.

Once a week at my local HyVee, once a week at Walmart, and anything needed in between times I ask DH to bring home from Aldi's.  I make out weekly menus so I know what I'll be needing and not just pick up whatever strikes my fancy.

It really depends on how I'm feeling health-wise.  Grocery shopping is difficult for me.  Ideally I would like to go once per week. My choice of days is Thursday after work if I'm not buying too much or if there is a shopping cart in our parking lot to help me with the groceries when I get home.  Otherwise I go on Friday evening or Saturady and arrange for Saturday delivery.

Most of the time I end up going every 2 weeks though. By that time I've run out of fresh veggies and fruit, but I keep canned and frozen stuff.

I shop weekly.  We found that if I plan a menu for us, one week at a time, we waste a lot less fresh foods.  I also seem to cook some tastier stuff!

I normally shop bi-weekly, and pick up fresh produce every few days in between that, since I go through fruit/veggies pretty fast. (I get a lot of canned/boxed goods from a discount store called, Aldi since they have good prices. I maybe go there once every month or two, not that often.)

Try to get there 2 times a week for meat markdowns.  Also if I do smaller trips I do better then one giant trip.  The less stuff to put away really helps me.  I will hit 2-4 stores in a go.

For years, we've done a once-a-week shopping. But I've been kicking around the idea of going once every other week, other than for milk and produce. My sister shops every other week because of the way they get their paychecks and she likes it. She says she thinks she spends less money that way.

I'd have to make sure I had a really good list because when I forget something, I don't go back to the store until we shop again. And if I had to wait two weeks for something like eggs, that could get ugly.

I get a paycheck every other week, but Rick gets a weekly paycheck.
