Last month I arranged for delivery of my new leather couch, only to find when it arrived that it wouldn't fit into the elevator! I was crushed :(

I finally got around to dealing with the issue and went to the furniture store.

When I was shopping for furniture I had spent hours trying out all of the sofas in the store and kept going back to the one I picked. So I figured it would be a waste of my time trying to find "the next best thing", when I had my heart set on this model. So today I went with the love seat.  It's being delivered on Wednesday.

Aww that sucks! I missed your other thread.

Is the love seat the same model/make as what the sofa is?

But congrats on getting one picked out takes me ages to find the perfect one

Yes, it's the same model and colour. Just one cushion shorter than the sofa.

I was so crushed when the guy told me that my sofa wouldn't fit into the elevator. I spent more than an hour actually crying about it,  LOL

I measured the elevator today. It's 95" high and 43.5" deep.  The problem with the sofa wasn't the height of the elevator, it was the depth. If the elevator had been deeper, they would have been able to get the couch in far enough to stand it up.

Ah right I see so its a two seater. It's such a shame it didn't fit with you having your heart set on it :(

Enjoy your new sofa.    It's a shame about the first one, but I guess this will be similar.
