Sorry for taking so long to get back to this. :) Finally I am posting photos of Kitty's adorable little kittens. A few of the photos are quite old, so they are a bit bigger now.

This is Tibbs. He's a boy.

Kish Kish who looks just like her mother and is the only girl. She's also the only long haired kitten. Kish Kish is the most graceful and climb very high up trees!
A more recent photo of Kish Kish.

Tazriorn, the purring sweetheart of the family. He's the troublemaker, too!

Unfortunately this is the only photo I know of Despurreaux. He was the first kitten to walk up to me. He's the bravest and the most snuggly. He's a real doll. His eyes are kind of greenish yellowish now, just like all of the others.

And the proud mother. :)

I planned on getting Kitty spayed a while ago, but unfortunately by the time I could, I think she is already pregnant. :/ Please don't tell me to do a spay/abort, because I really couldn't do that. It would be like killing these kittens.

However, on a good note, I just found out that the spay and neuter task force will S/N the whole litter of kittens for free if you spay the mom for only $25. Unfortunately these kittens are too old, but I will use that for the next litter.

ETA: The reason Kitty's coat looks so disgusting is because I've removed her mats, so now she has some bald patches. However she's going to look more beautiful than ever when it grows back!

Hi Catbehaviors
,

I
all those little kittens. Are you going to keep them? Or, are you going to re-home, some/all of them? Also, PM SENT. How does Wessie, feel about, his new "friends"?

Hi Mattie, nice to hear from you!!

I would love to keep every single one of them, but unfortunately I can't. :( I'm going to try to find them all good homes, but so far no luck. Honestly I'm a little glad they aren't gone yet!

Wessie is actually really good with other cats. A few days after meeting them he stopped hissing at all, and just wants to play with them. They like him too, but don't like it when he gets too close. :lol3: I'm surprised how easy it is to introduce him to other felines. I think he would have really enjoyed not being an "only cat". Maybe one day he won't be! :)

Really, these kittens are too old for the spay/neuter offer? They look barely old enough for neutering to me. Check again--maybe they qualify after all!

Well... you have five cats. Five is definitely into cat-lady territory, but it's not something you can't handle, if you're careful about it and have a way to get them vet care. I'm living on a disability check (i.e., significantly below the poverty line) and I have two cats; it's hard for me to get enough money to take care of them properly, but I always seem to manage somehow. You just have to look at the luxuries in your life--see what you can cut out. I haven't bought new clothes in years, for example; and I know how to repair the old ones when they get torn. I satisfy my lust for books by going to the library instead of buying out the used bookstore. I use a bike or the bus system, so I don't need a car.

I don't know if you're going to find homes for them; I sure hope you do. But if you can't--if you're the only one they have--then I assure you, you will find a way to take care of them. We always seem to find a way to do the things that are most important to us.
