I recently wrote an introduction about my cats in the new members area. They have only known each other about a week but took an immediate liking to one another. Both kittens are females that are four months old and spayed.

Tonight, they were playing as I watched. They were taking turns hiding under the bed while the other "danced" out in the open. The one under the bed would stalk the other and jump out to "attack" but there wasn't serious fighting going on. My new addition, Puffy, was "stalking" Stitch. Stitch got alarmed by my neighbor, who suddenly turned on loud music, and wasn't prepared for her ambush. She got a small cut on her leg.

After being injured, Stitch returned to a lot of the habits she had when she first came here at 11 weeks of age. She started following me around everywhere again; she was crying because she wanted to be carried around like a baby. She also started acting out nursing behavior again along with the more unpleasant habit of biting my toes while I'm walking. She has been broken of all this, but I don't mind; I actually enjoy the bonding time. She hasn't been hostile towards Puffy either. She groomed her about an hour after this took place.

I, of course, called my vet who said it was no cause for alarm as long as Stitch was not seriously injured. She eats fine, uses the bathroom fine, etc, but has resorted to her "baby" behavior. Is this something I should be concerned about or is it normal?

Awww, I think she wants to be comforted for her boo-boo! I'm sure the vet already gave you info, so just probably repeating this bit about cleaning the cut.

I cleaned the cut well. It was very mild compared to the ones she gave me before she got over her "badness" (hence the name Stitch). LOL I think she's just looking for an excuse to be the baby again. She was "nursing" on my shirt for over 30 minutes when she just suddenly decided to jump up and make a surprise attack on poor Puffy.
