Georgia has had chronic loose stools for years.

She's been checked out the vet and given a prescription for w/d wet food that we mixed in with her fancy feast and a probiotic.

We also switched to Taste of the Wild kibble since I know it's a good quality kibble.

Well that was months ago and no real change.

Finally I decided we have to get stricter with her diet and fix this problem!

I decided she's ONLY going to get w/d wet food.  No fancy feast mixed in, no kibble.

It's tough to stick with it with 4 cats, but if it works it'll be worth it!

It's only been 2 days, but she hasn't had any loose stools in these 2 days.

Fingers crossed that maybe we cured her!

If I actually see evidence of her making a solid poop, I will be so happy!!!!

I suspect, the issue was caused by feeding fancy feast, which is a Purina product, and many have had issues with Purina products, which include Friskies.  I have no experience with TOTW, but I have heard many say, its a good food. I just think, that the good that TOTW was doing, was being undone, by fancy feast.

I had issues with FF too, the babies threw it up, and the others had an expensive vet bill. When I put them back on BW, no more issues, and no issues before FF.

I am not a fan of Hills, to many grains, and I thought the idea of w/d, was weight reducing, but I could be wrong, and/or it may have other uses, that I am not aware of.

If she is doing well on w/d, then thats all that matters, glad she is doing better and feeling better. Here is a good site to read, if you need it for the future.

My one cat was on WD for many months and no issues. It does get to be a lot as he is a big boy.  He now is eating friskies wet just fine.  Any pate but fish as I don't feed my guys fish often due to Urinary issues that could pop up.
