Just recently my mom rescued a 4 week old kitten from the wild and so we've been taking care of her. Shes about 5 weeks or so now, and I noticed that one of her pupils are larger than the other, although it will change a bit with the different lighting but not consistently. My mom did a simple eye test by waving her hand near her right eye, and than her left eye [which is the dilated one]. She didnt respond to the left one till she noticed my moms hand with the right eye. She has also had this cold since we have gotten her where she sneeze, has watery eyes, and is congested. I wasnt to worried because I looked around a bit on the internet and figured it was just a common cold and that it would pass, but now its getting worse and shes so congested that its hard for her to breathe. Ive been boiling water than letting her breathe in the steam to help clear it out but she gets freaky around it [which isnt like her, shes usually calm and mellow]. My mom and I dont have enough money coming in to just take her to the vet if its nothing. What do you guys think?

Also shes sleeping with her right eye completley open. Is that normal?

Thank you so much for reading

She should go to the vet to make sure she's okay and to get something for her sneezing, weepy eye, and congestion.  Also, check the link at the top of the forum that is about not being able to afford vet care.  There's lots of good help there.
