Something growing in my cat's paw

Hi! Minty and I would appreciate some advice. I noticed a hard brownish nodule/crust/scab in her paw around the 14th of July. I have been photographing its development. I have to take the photos to the vet first, as she is very scared and will need anesthesia for him even to check the paw. Has anybody seen anything similar? It does not hurt, feels hard to finger, in the beginning I could put my nail under its rim (I have not tried now). But it is possibly less high and has gotten longer/wider, still feels hardish and scratchy to the finger. She seems otherwise healthy, has good appetite, purrs much. She is 7 years old inside cat. I'll adda few photos, the first 2 from the 17th of July, next 2 from 23th of June, last 2 from 4th of August. If you can zoom them while looking, that would be good - the details show quite well. I just love the little cat and am so worried for her... Thank you for advice! Maaria

Your pictures are not showing up. If you have them in your computer the easiest way is to upload them directly.

#1 In a forum post or article, find the Image button which looks like this: - this button exists in both the rich text editor and the BB Code editor. (It's in the line of icons above the message window.)

#2 Click the button to open the Image Tool.

#3 Click on the "my computer" button and you can browse your computer for the image(s) you want.

Yep, the pictures are not showing up for me either. But from what you describe, it could be a very large scab from a past injury?
