I'm not really sure what to write about so I guess I'll explain how I got my lovely kitten, Freya!
I had been wanting a cat my whole entire life. They fascinated me and I always had swell of joy whenever one of my friends cat's would jump on me and let me pet them. One of my close friends jokingly calls me the animal whisperer because all of her cats and her one lone dog always gravitate toward me, especially at night when they want to sleep. I've always been curious about why, but my friends think it's just because I'm so calm all the time.
Well! The reason I could not get a cat was because I was allergic for the longest time. My mother refused to have a cat in her house as well, complaining about their shedding. I eventually outgrew my allergies and badgered my mom for a good two years about letting my keep a cat. She would never give in! I still live with her, as I just turned 20 and I'm goin to college, haha.
Anyhow, my father had died unexpectedly in Januray of this year and it was the lowest and most stressful point in my life. I didnt realize how much of a hole I had in my heart after his passing and, although it will never fully heal, my kitten really does help me not feel so lonely. I got her from one of my friends when she was about nine weeks and took her home as soon as I could. She is the sweetest thin I have ever met and I just love her to bits and pieces. She follows me everywhere and is always sleeping near me or on me. My mom says that she's practically my daughter haha.
Freya is a tuxedo cat with very pretty amber eyes. She looks a lot like her mother, I think! She's now about to be three months old on the ninth. I cannot currently post pics is since I'm on my phone but I will soon.
she is just very fascinating to me and I'm on google at least once a day looking up cat questions to try and get to know the species better.
