I'm so sorry.....this is the first break I've had since 4:30 this morning! Cleaning for awhile, then the kitchen design guru came to measure, then I started cooking for tomorrow. So......

Have you ever used a Ouija board? What happened? Anything?

NOPE!  Grew up in a christian home. One year my dad bought my sister & I one for Christmas, & my mom threw it right in the trash!  I'm glad she did. I think messing with something like that is just an invitation for evil spirits!

I too got one as a kid.  Didn't really understand the theory and never could get it to do anything.  Guess I was just too young.

Ah, fun times with the Ouija boards.

I had one when I was younger.. maybe around 7-10 ish? My best friend (At the time) played it often. Whether she pushed the pointer or not to create our regular visitor, Mary. I had no idea if it was real or not, and still don't!

LOL, I just remembered that my dad told us to call a "Goonie, Goonie, Limbo-S Miloah" (he made it up, I'm sure of it now..) one night. We did and it was a bunch of laughs. Goonie soon became our regular visitor, lol.

It was all fun and games. But if I had to use one now, I'd probably freak out a bit as I am a bit more aware of spirits and have more understandings and feelings about them.

I didn't. But my ex did. He was trying to drum up spirts to haunt someone for him. but they haunted him for quite a while instead. He ended up putting his bible on top of the board and the visits stopped. He threw it away after that.

They are too scary for me. Its just asking for trouble

We used to use one all the time when I was a kid. One time, it said the name of a lady I used to know, how she died, I asked what I used to deliver to her and it responded with "avon" and many other facts (including her address). Very creepy since none of my friends had any idea who this lady was. She was from a city over an hour away where I grew up and this was after I moved when I was 10.

Another time, I was at a friends birthday party and we were playing with her Ouija board and we left the house for a few hours. When we came back, it was on goodbye. Nobody was home so we knew nobody had moved it.

LOL...  Love this question!  YES, I used to use it when I was in my early teens.  We would have seances and light candles and so all sorts of things to build up a mysterious atmosphere.  I don't think anything *really* happened but at the time we thought it did ;)

Yes. early teens.  What we thought happened (and all agreed on thru much OMG and convincing each other) and what actually happened are probably widely divergent.  Should have had a cat present to verify if there was something other than teenage impressionism in the room.

We had one when I was growing up but I never played it. My very best friend sister-type friend was a pastor's daughter and she told me it could open the door to demons. I don't know if I believed that but didn't want to take a chance since my childhood had enough demons in it already.

When I was a teen one year I made a huge gingerbread house for Christmas (usually made smaller houses) and used it as the base since it was so sturdy. I wanted to keep it to use every year for the houses I made but it disappeared after the first Christmas. No one knew what happened to it.

These days I don't even want to touch one much less use it. I'm pretty sure my friend was right. I don't want to open a door if I don't know what's coming through it.
