Havent seen her eat in a while unless she's been doing it when I'm not looking.. lol. Not that much blood at all, she's happily sleeping right now

She's produced two little grey kittens within the last 3 hours.. Didn't really know what to do with #1 at first but she took care of #2 without any of my assistance! So proud of her right now. I felt around her belly & couldn't feel any more in there, but time will tell! Thanks to everyone for your helpful advice :) I still need to get around to snipping their cords.

Unless the placenta is still attached or they are tangled leave their cords alone.

Otherwise, tear - don't cut - as far away from the kitten as possible.  If you cut a cord it bleeds a lot more, tearing makes the blood vessels in it contract which stops bleeding.  Your fingers are fine, just wash your hands well first.  Remember mum normally breaks it with her teeth, and her mouth is full of bacteria.

The placenta was still attached, I made sure to tie it off first with dental floss! Both kittens are happy and mama is sleeping away :)

Cats do sometimes go several hours between kittens - I think some people here have reported as much as a day.  Is she happy and feeding the babies she already has?  If so it's not a big rush, but ring the vets when they are open and remember a 'just to be sure peace of mind' visit during normal hours is far, far cheaper than an out-of-hours emergency.

And it can feel like there is a kitten left when there isn't but the vet will be able to tell by feeling her much better than you.  If you take her, take the kittens as well.

If she's in actual labour, pushing and nothing is happening then it's an issue. They also won't usually settle with the kittens if there's an issue

Otherwise agree with OS

Third kitten came about 3 hours ago, precious little thing! My mom seems to think there's still a 4th one in there but I'm not sure. Everyone is happy & feeding well :)

She ate almost a full bowl of her food & drank a ton of water! She ventured away from the kittens for a little bit but came back as soon as she heard them crying.
