I would like to worm my family of cats. I would like liquid wormer for pills are a problem for me to get down them. I seen a tape worm on one cat butt. So I am not sure if that is possible. Which one do you guys use?

For tape worms I think you would need Drontal. I have never had a liquid wormer that treated tape worms. There is a topical called Profender that treats tapeworms but it is more expensive than Drontal. Those are the only two wormers I know of that will treat tapeworms as well as the other worms.

If it's a big problem for you to pill them, the vet can give a Droncit injection for the tapeworms. My vet only charges $4 and no office fee, but of course most vets probably charge more than that. But it is an option. All other praziquantel options I know of are pills.

For roundworms I use liquid generic Strongid, bought out of a horse supply catalog. It's the same stuff my vet uses---I asked. Some kitties don't much like the taste, though.
