The older 3 are doing amazing. Mica has passed up Pip in weight (he's the runt by far, though guess not by far anymore!) and Cheeto's a chubby little girl. They all love their cuddles and are getting closer to that 2lb mark to get fixed (at which point Pip will go to her furever home and we will all be sad and miss the brat)
The younger 4 are doing pretty well too. KMR (even when diluted to more diluant than formula) is too rich for their little tummies and the recipe we were feeding them helped out their poops greatly. Of course the thriving on it ended after about a week since the past coupld days they started losing weight (except Thunder who was the only one to still gain at that point) so to fatten them up we're now on kitten glop. Just one night of using it and they all gained over and ounce each (again except Thunder who's maintained a very steady gain) but now we're back to having diarrhea
Would adding pumpkin to the kitten glop help? Last recipe we used for them used pumpkin and that helped keep their poops formed really nicely (well that and rice cereal) or does anybody have a recipe for kittens with sensitive tummies that will keep them keep gaining weight and thriving until weaning? They all eat very well and are active, bright eyed and bushy tailed. They also LOVE the glop. They all purr after eating, even when being stimulated which they used to scream about (except Thunder, who would purr during that and bathes and just about everything you do to him he'll purr or chirp)
Hard to believe their close to being 3 weeks already! Unless they suddenly grow a lot in the next week, they seem like they'll be smaller cats (the trio was a lot bigger at 4 weeks when we brought them in and in a lot worse shape) Either way we love them and will miss them all once they get homes. 100% positive I'll cry while giving them away
