So Khaleesi is 12 weeks old now, and since she was 6 weeks old I have been able to feel her liver. I mean I can't know for sure it is her liver but its liver sized and right under her ribcage on her right side. Its feels normal (smooth and not hard) but isn't it odd to feel that on a kitten? She has been to vet twice (6 weeks and 8 weeks), and they said the exam was 'normal' but since she was so little I am not sure if they did more than listen to heart and lungs. She is healthy, active and eats normal as well as growing at a normal rate. I had mentioned it to a vet tech last time I was there and she said "its hard on kittens because they eat so much so fast it pushes everything out"...but I feel it even when she doesn't have a full belly. I am just being a nervous mama, as I just lost my cat Cricketa to lymphoma in May. I am so nervous about this, as I love this little kitten to death.

I totally understand worrying about something that is normal (or normal for the cat). It seems everyone does that sometimes.

Can you see the kitten's ribs? This would mean the kitty is underweight. If not, don't worry about it unless the vet does.

Don't be scared. I hope clearing out with a vet would do good. Maybe she is not eating well?
