We had a young girl that I knew from when I worked at the Temple over the house for lunch yesterday. She is a school teacher here in Naples and I was friendly with her late mom who was a teacher at the Temple. Anyway, Ellie is a cat lover (who else would I invite for lunch?) Tippy was all over her which is typical for Tippy - she loves the world. Tony stayed away for a couple of hours, but eventually curiosity got the best of him and he went over to see her. After a little coaxing and chin scratching he rolled over on his belly for his favorite belly-rubs and he and Ellie became friends. That's a first for Tony. The only person other than Paul and myself that he trusts is my neighbor who is our cat sitter. Angel was friendly, but she has become more more stand-offish in recent years. She's around 9 years old now and isn't quite as receptive to new people as she used to be. All she needs is Paul, who is her love! She doesn't leave him alone. Poor little girl must be mentally challenged! (just kidding-- I think).
