Yes, before you ask, a human one!
Alex, Andrew (Alex's brother), and I all had an apartment together. Andrew had been planning during the summer to transfer from UGA (which is a couple hours away) to another local college, cause he liked living here with us. However, at the last minute, he changed his mind, and went back to UGA anyway. Which left us without a roommate. We CAN pay for it by ourselves, but it is tough.
So, anyway, one of their really good friends just came back into town after unexpectedly leaving a job in New Mexico. He is looking for a place to stay while he works to save up money to return to college (he only has one year left). Sooooo . . .
He may stay with us! He's really nice, doesn't smoke (I'm asthmatic), cleans up after himself, doesn't do drugs, helps around the house . . . and he LOVES cats!
He's been here three days, looking for a job. He's already gotten a couple interviews, and it looks like he'll get a job soon. And like I said, he loves Luna, he plays with her all the time, so she has a new playmate for at least part of the time while I'm off at work.
This will help me and Alex out so much, if it works out. Money is tight, and we could really use a roommate to help share the burden of the bills. Well, I'm excited, so I just wanted to let y'all know!!!
P.S. -- He's also really athletic and outdoorsy, so he's agreed to work out with me everyday! I'll finally get into half-way decent shape! Yeah! (He wants me to join a rock-climbing club with him, though . . .
Don't know if I'm up for that, yet!)
