I have a 13 week old kitten named Shinedown. And he loves to chew my hair. I wouldn't mind so much, but I'm worried it's bad for his health. I use hair bleach and dye on a regular basis. Should I find a way to stop this, or just leg him chew and lick "mommies" hair?

As long as Shinedown is not biting your hair off your head and swallowing it, I don't see a problem, but you should check Shinedown's mouth regularly to make sure. It would be much easier to stop using bleach and dye than teach her to stop biting your hair IMO.

I would find a way to stop the hair chewing! I don't see a reason to change what to do with your hair when you can simply train your kitty not to do this. The first thing I would try is simply distracting him with a toy or treat. If that doesn't work, tell him no and put him in another spot, and if he doesn't chew the hair give him a treat. :) that's what I would do.

Bad idea. Giving a cat treats or a toy is rewarding her for chewing hair, not distraction. The only way to train a cat is do soething the cat hates like push her nose and say "no" or "stop" in a firm voice. Treats and toys are for teaching tricks like sit-up and roll over.
