Yeah. If in serious fight, they go after face / the eyes.
And he himself apparenty did his best to stand his ground. If he tried to fly, he would prob got bitten in the tail. It is entirely possible his adversary got the worst of it.
Your furry friend is lucky after all, the wounds dont seem too dangerous / had began to heal, and the eyes seems NOT damaged.
I do see some scratches from a fight... BUT also do see some red irritated skin. AWWWW he is a GORGEOUS BOY!!!!! White cats seem so sensitive in regards to skin issues. I would just keep watch on those areas. If hair starts falling out, and you are seeing raw, red patches, then get him to the vet for a check up. It is just so much easier to see every little mark and redness on a white cat than any other coat color. Good luck with this guy - he really is a handsome man.
OH is he neutered? If not, then I would do it fast. This will help make him more apt to stay away from other tom's and getting into fights.
