Hey y'all, from Luna and myself!

Hey all!

I'm very excited to be on this site - I own Luna (or rather, she allows me to take ownership of her care and feeding). I found her in a box along with her other littermates when they were approx. 3 weeks old as well as the mother! I kept them all in my room, alternately bottle feeding and encouraging the mother to nuture them and then, when they were old enough adopted them all out - except for Luna. She, as the runt and the only black cat in the litter really stood out to me.

She is the Absolute Destroyer of Worlds - a precocious 1 year old who is, alternately, a sweet loving cat and a spaz.

We are about to move for the very first time together and I'm very excited to take her with me on my new chapter in life!

I tried to post this message once before, but I think it either didn't "take", or perhaps being moderated before being posted, so if this is duplicated in error and ignorance, I'm sorry!

My name is Amanda. I decided to  join this site because I am a first- time cat owner. I rescued Luna when she was approx. 3 weeks old along with her other littermates and mother. My ex boyfriend found them in a box, in an abandoned garage and together we nursed them and adopted them all out (including momma cat!) with the exception of Luna. She was the only black female in the mix and was the runt. I simply had to have her!

Luna is black and white, SH cat and is now preciociously into her first year. I kept her declawed, but sometimes she decides to spaz and become what I like to refer to her as the Destroyer of Worlds.

We are in the process of moving to our new home, Luna and myself, and I wanted to have a place to come to ask some questions and get to know fellow cat owners.
