how old is this cat??

hey, im getting a kitten, but the owner is not sure how old the cat is

here are photos, how many weeks do you think it is?

Probably about 8 weeks, although it's hard to tell for sure from a picture. Kittens really should stay with their mothers for 10-12 weeks, but if he doesn't know how old the baby is I assume he doesn't own the mama cat.

another thing, do you think its a girl or a boy?

can you tell by those photos?

LOL, no way to tell gender from a picture of this end of the cat :tongue2:. If you get a clear picture of the other end, maybe.

:lol3: Willowy, I've usually pretty good with guessing sexes just from their appearance! Only once have I been wrong... I'm thinking the OP has a boy. But honestly there is absolutely no way we can tell from this side.

Boy or girl, it sure is cute!

Get a good pic of the tail end if you want to know the gender....

I say about 8 weeks and a little girl.  But the only true way to know is to examine the other end.

An upside down exclaimation mark (  !  ) is a girl

A colon ( : )  is  boy

no Ive had cats before

my previous cat died some years ago, and this kitten in the photos I am getting looks exactly like it!!

I think it looks like a girl, either way it doesnt matter what sex it is

I think I will name it Mila if its a girl, or Buster if its a boy

I will get it when it when its minimum 12 weeks old

She/he is a very pretty kitten...

You could always try the ! or : test...
