My cat Jayden has the same problem exept 1 ear is full of non-dried blood. I'm REALLY scared. Someone help. Her and her sister Willow has an appointment in 2 days to get de-clawed. What should I do right now?

1) take the cat with the blood in it's ear to the vets as soon as they open

2) cancel the declawing

I'm sure plenty of other people will come along and many of them will be outraged that you plan declawing your cats.

Declawing involves removing the end joint of each toe.  Some cats have life-long problems after what is an unnecessary operation - one that's illegal in many countries, including the UK.  Declawed cats have lost their natural means of defense and may resort to biting, and are very vulnerable if they accidentally get out of the house.  Type 'declawing' into Google and have a look at what you find there.

The view from the UK is that it's an operation performed for the owner, not for the benefit of the pet.

Please at the very least defer and look at what other people offer.  You will find some people expressing their views very strongly and you will get flack, but please read through it to the information being offered.

I have moved this to a new thread so your question gets the full attention it deserves.

I would definitely cancel any type of major surgery until your cat gets healthy.  Please take this opportunity to fully investigate and understand declaw surgery and the high potential for complications and unwanted side-effects.

I agree totally with the above. You will find lots inf info here on declawing, including why the procedure is illegal in many countries round the world. But you cat needs vet attention for the ear, as soon as possible.
