:thud: OMG Laurie, will you look at that little man? He is looking incredible! :thud:
W-O-W :wow:
I remember when you first took him in..... his issues, your doubts, his introduction..... your fear of how FIV would affect the others, and how he would do with the other 7...... And just look at him NOW!:clap::clap: He has come SUCH a long way :hyper:
He is a testament to your love, faith and dedication..... You are a remarkable kitty mom, and he is so, so lucky to have found you and Gary :heart3:

Happy move-in day Chum-Chum - you deserve a life filled with much love and happiness sweetheart! :rub:
:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

WOW!  Two years already??  I remember when you were thinking about bringing him inside with your others and all the concern and care went into your decision.  He has absolutely FLOURISHED!!!  What a handsome boy he is!

You know what I think is the most remarkable thing about this entire thing? Is his legacy.... I have no doubt Chumley, former Charlie :lol3: has helped to save other FIV kitties lives....
I remember your fear because he was so aggressive outside, of attacking the other kitties.... I remember vividly, you discussing with us the possibility if removing (or chipping? Ok, not so vividly :lol3:) his canines to eliminate the risk of deep tissue bite wounds, and spreading the virus....
Yet, Chumley lives with 7 other cats, two of them immune-compromised, Lazlo being severely for a while. In an RV! On the top of it, he eats a raw diet. :thud: He is a testament that not only FIV is not a death sentence, FIV kitties can and DO live normal and healthy lives, given the chance and proper care.
So Laurie, give yourself a huge pat on your back.... You are just an example to be followed, you should be proud of yourself.
:hugs:

Chumley has so much personality in all his pics - You can see a change of kitty persona in his eyes
in the progression of this pics! You made my evening with this thread. Thank you for loving this deserving cat. Love leads to beauty

Aww Chumley!

Such a darling boy - I love his face. It's so hard to equate the scared cat in the first picture with your handsome guy in the last

Carolina is right about him helping other FIV+ kitties, though. I still can't thank you enough, Laurie, for the information and responses to my panicked message when we discovered Wendel was FIV+.All that kept running through my head was your 'FIV is not a death sentance signature' with Chumley's big smile.

Gosh, it's IMPOSSIBLE that it's been 2 years
.  Time cannot be marching ahead that quickly!

What an adorable boy he is.  And he has the best story.  He found his way to you just like our boys found their way to us

Look at that... He goes from defensive and scared, to cautious and curious, to relaxed and totally at ease. And that ear-tip does nothing to detract from his beauty; it only gives him character! Chicks dig scars, as they say. :)
