bought slow feeder bowl

I was having trouble with Woody gulping down his dry food. So I bought a slow feeder bowl and he is mad at me. Now he can't gulp down his food and he doesn't like it. I had even changed his food to a larger kibble so he would chew it, well, he did, but he still ate fast. He will have to get used to the new bowl.

Awww. I hope he does adjust! I don't have any experience with this, just wanted to send vibes.

Of course he does not like it - he must change the way he eats with that thing. Which style did you get?

Was he using another material in the old style bowl?  If plastic could have odd smell to it.
