I'd previously on the raw food forum, however, the initial diagnosis of CLL has now given way to small cell lymphona.  Whimsey  has started chemotherapy.  Prognosis varies. Don't know how much time he will have:( I really hate cancer! Of all the special cats in the world, he has been the MOST special!  I've heard of a product called ES Clear.  Has anyone heard of it?

Best,

I've not heard of the product, but my understanding from Lazlo's oncologist is that small cell lymphosarcoma is the most treatable of all the cancers. Prognosis, depending upon how advanced the cancer is, is usually very good. If it goes into remission from the chemo, it stays in remission, as opposed to the large cell lymphomas, for which chemo only buys more time. :heart2:

When on chemo, Lazlo was supported with prednisolone, an anti-nausea medication (Cerenia), an antacid (pepcid a/c), and an appetite stimulant (mirtazipine). Overall, he did very well with the chemo. His protocol was four cycles of four, the first two cycles (if I'm remembering correctly) were weekly treatments with a week off between the cycles. Then it moved to every-other-week. The treatment at the end of each cycle was the most difficult for him. I have NO idea what the protocol for treatment of small cell lymphoma is. I hope all goes well for him!!!! :rub:

Continued vibes for Whimsey! :vibes: :vibes: :vibes: :vibes: :vibes:

And :hugs: for you. :heart2:

Awwwww, I'm so so sorry, Elizabeth. My Candy had lymphoma of the kidney. Where is Whimsey's cancer localized? I've heard really good things about ES clear, actually. I haven't used it myself though.
