one of my cats have been acting real strange for the past like 5 days. ill start here:

i rescued a kittin that was in the middle of the high way and nearly got squashed... he cant be more than a month and a half old and i took him home and starting caring him. he started playing with my tabby cat for a while they would run around every where messing around. well all of a sudden i noticed my older cat started to just lie around and do nothing..... he seems VERY lazy.. hasnt been eating like he use to but he has improved just a bit.... he will stand hovered over in the same position for a while without moving or until the other car goes and jumps on him and he gets mad.

can the kittin carry over worms and cause him to get sick?? i think im going to go get this worm medicine that you have to squirt in there mouth and see if it helps.

anybody have any suggestions???

When you brought that kitten home didn't you bring it to the vet and get it checked out? You should never just bring another cat into the house and not have it checked first. And to answer your question, yes, your older cat can get worms and other things from the kitten. But you need to get him checked by the vet and not just guess and give him medication. Also, he could be getting angry and depressed because he feels pushed out by the new kitten. There's a new little cat in his territory and that's probably affecting him emotionally also.

^^^this.  new kitten = vet and shots.  you have no idea what it might have.

and my seven-year-old cat got really depressed for about two years when i got a kitten.  he used to lie around with his chin on the floor.  he got used to her though and they loved each other.  at first i think he just wanted to be an only cat.

There are several problems your cat could get from the kitten, mainly in the intestinal parasite field.  A checkup for both would be a good idea.

An upper respiratory infection will slow your cat down and make him feel pretty, bad, too, just like a cold does to a human.

But guessing will just drive you crazy.
