So Khaleesi is 9 weeks and she had really itchy ears. She has had them since I got her at 6 weeks but I figured she would grow out of it, or maybe it was just the crappy food she had been on. However, they have not gotten better and I am unsure what it could be. Her ears are 100% clean and normal looking according to the vet, no wax or debris so that rules out ear mites. However they seem really uncomfortable, she isn't itching them 24/7 but if I touch them while petting or the other cats do she starts itching at them and holding one oddly. When I told the vet she didn't seem concerned, but it looks uncomfortable. I know my older cat who passed on had IBD and her ears were always itchy, could this be a food allergy?
BTW, the food she is on has no corn, wheat or soy so that rules out common allergens
