my sister rescued a little tiny kitten i'd say she's about a month old. I seen mommy give birth but i can't remember the exact date. Yes we are aware that she is too young to be taken from her mommy but we can't find mommy at all or the other siblings. Sad to say or even think about we have raccoon's in the yard and we are thinking that they ate her siblings =[

So the thing is we need to know EVERYTHING that we can do for this little tiny baby. so far we've went to petco and bought kitten formula and we bottle feed her every 3 hours sometimes 2 because she gets so meowy lol.

Day 1- she didn't want to suck on it at all so we were squirting it in her mouth

Day 2- she LOVES her bottles. lol shes very well used to sucking & drinking.

What else are we supposed to be doing for the kitten? Thanks.

Helping her with the bathroom?  Ie washing, but not least, the pee and the poo?  You do stimulate her after each meal?   Some forumists do simply set them under running luke-warm water; a little warmer then body temp (cats body temp is a little higher then humans).

As she is a month, you can soon begin to try to give her wet food, in a shallow plate. It will be messy...

When it is time for litter, use a non clumping litter. Best non clumping not from clay, but most important, not clumping - as she will surely taste some.

You can look the site www.kitten-rescue.com for ideas, and read through some of our treads.

Good luck!

Thank You for the help! she actually goes to the litter box. We put her in every hour just in case she has to go. and most of the time she does. The vet that i take MY cat too, i told her to take her kitten their and they tell us that they can't do nothing until she's 12 weeks old such as vaccines and such..should we need to find a new vet?...

They can have blue eyes somewhat longer than 3 weeks, 4-5 maybe too.  If she goes on the potty herself and well, I would belive she is 4.

About the vet...  It IS just about there. I would say most vets can do vaccinations at 10, but I have seen vet do it at 7-8, and it is a too early I think....  The vet meaned perhaps spaying?  THIS is usually done at about 12 in USA.

I agree.

And she's also old enough to start eating solid food, raw meat or soft tinned food. Since she has no mother to show her how to eat you may need to put a small amount into her mouth before she understands what to do.

I do vaccinations at 8 & 12 weeks, spaying and microchipping at 10 weeks. There's no reason to wait until 12 weeks to begin any sort of vet work. She'll also need to be wormed from 6 weeks.
