I've been lurking for a bit, but I haven't seen this one mentioned much. It seems to be a decent option (I think?).

Well, MY cats didn't like the Weruva pouches, but they're a strange bunch
.  Most cats LOVE Weruva, and IMHO, it's a great brand of grain free canned (or pouch) feed.

Cookie and Cuddles LOVED Weruva pouches! Cats in the Kitchen are great. If my cats weren't on commercial raw, that's what I would be feeding them.

I just squeezed Natural Balance wet food out of a pouch today and hated it. If the food is not in a can, I am not buying it. But that is just my preference.

My only concern with the ingredient list is cats should not eat a lot of tuna, so if you get that one, it should be fed in moderation.

So you hated it, but what about your cat? My cat loves the N.B. pouched food.

according to weruva, they use skipjack and bonito tunas with a short life-span, so it doesn't accumulate mercury like the larger albacore, big-eye and bluefin.  also, the fact that tuna leaches vitamin e is due to the fact that it is packed in oil, so i'm not sure that applies to the weruva/b.f.f. line either.  i know i have at least one fish addict and i've been wondering if it's a good idea to let him have fish more than 3 times a week.  he tries to play the starving out game but he can't go without eating more than 8-10 hours and ends up eating whatever is there. :)

I think a good thread topic would be "How much is too much fish?" While taste-testing Patricia, I can see if given a choice, she will choose tuna over chicken any day.

I guess I wasn't very clear, I was asking more about the quality because I haven't seen it mentioned much. Of course, if a cat won't eat it, who cares about the quality, right? I have read a bit about weruva pouches, but I didn't realize they were the same thing. I guess the only way to know for sure is to try it, but my old man seems to really like the weruva canned and isn't picky, so I'm guessing he'll like the pouches too.

My cats loved the Weruva Pouches, especially the Love Me Tender. It helped me with my fussies in transitioning them to raw. I still use them on occasion and have them on hand.

My cat loves the pouches, perhaps pouches don't transfer that " tinny taste."

What tinny taste? Wilbur always preferred canned foods and Patricia's preferences are based on the food itself, not the packaging.
Have you ever eaten tuna straight from the can ? Compare that to the tuna you get that comes in a pouch, the pouch tuna has a much fresher taste/one would assume that it is the same for cat food.
