We had cats around 2 years before we decided to add hens to our list. The plan was to keep them separated because we didn't want any dead hens lying about the place. We went out to buy several chicks, cute yellow ones, and lo and behold! the cats actually loved them! it's funny how we have all these stereotypes about animals
