Midnight last night, outside by the feeder, I saw Moo Kitty. She is one of the new ones in the worst shape! I took a chance and grabbed a drontal out of the fridge, walked over to her (she has let me get close to her in the last couple of days) and as she was eating, I scruffed her expecting a fight. There was none (she is to beat up) I quickly pilled her, let her go, and she crouched down as if I was going to hit her.
I just stroked her and told her she was magnificent and no one would hurt her. Then I released her and turned to go, and she sprang on my back! I dropped quickly, thanked the good lord I was wearing my robe and shook her off.

I have two deep scratches on my shoulder this morning, but she has been pilled!

You are truly an angel of mercy, and have the battle scars to prove it. I wish I had the ability, knowledge, and resources to the wonderful job you do.
Take special care of yourself, you are one in a million.

Oh Kellye! I forgot that Peedoodle is the name of one of your cats! I grew up saying peedoodle rather than $h!t. Peedoodle is a much nicer word!

LOL I did give Cyclone a second pill the other night.

But on a really sad note, this morning we hiked back behind the creek and up our back property to the road behind us. Laying in the road was the black kitty who recently was dumped here.
We were trying to figure out just where someone could release 7 cats on our place when we found her. It does look like she did not suffer so her pain is over, but damn it makes me so angry when people don't spay and neuter!

MA - CONGRATS on pilling Moo kitty and Cyclone! But I'm so sorry to hear about the black kitty.

I'm pissed there isn't a National spay/neuter program!

Ouch! Good for you Hissy
Im glad you were able to pill her. Im curious, what kind of pilling are you doing when you say that? Is it for worms or something? What medicine are you giving and what does it do?
