I currently feed my cats Blue Buffalo dry cat food. But I have been curious about their wilderness brand:

Blue Buffalo Wilderness Grain Free I had heard really good things about it and like that it is grain free. Today I was at the store and they were having a sale so I decided why not and picked up a bag of the dry along with their normal brand to mix it together. I don't think I would feed the grain free alone but mixed with their normal food seems like a good idea.

I was just curious if anyone else fed this brand and if they liked it?

Yes, IMO the B.B. wilderness is a ok entry level " grain-free " dry food. I do use it in a rotation of  " grain-free " dry for crunchies to supplement my cats canned/wet food.

Are you referring to the Blue Wilderness dry or wet food?

If you are referring to the dry food, its not a bad food in comparison to many of the brands on the market, but its quite high in carbohydrates, which can cause cats to put on weight, have smelly and large stools, and feeding dry food exclusively can lead to many digestive illnesses due to all the plant-based filler that cats can't digest, because cats are carnivores. But in respect to feeding Blue Buffalo dry foods that are not grain-free, Blue Wilderness dry is far superior. The Blue Wilderness wet food on the other hand is GREAT, because the only filler is potato so its lower in carbs.

Other Blue Products that I recommend are: Blue Wilderness Wild Delights, Blue Bistro, and Blue Feline Feast - they are all low carb wet foods without carrageenan!! http://www.thecatsite.com/t/246168/the-truth-about-carrageenan/60#post_3226004

I would suggest adding some wet food to your cats diet, and many of us advocate feeding exclusively wet or raw and do not support feeding any dry because there are too many negatives associated with it (see second link below)

Here's some links you may find useful:

All the best!

I like their wet formula; my cat loves it (I usually feed him the turkey, duck or chicken wilderness formula, and occasionally, as a treat, the salmon).

I currently feed my cats Blue Buffalo dry cat food. But I have been curious about their wilderness brand:

Blue Buffalo Wilderness Grain Free I had heard really good things about it and like that it is grain free...

I also use some dry.

I've recently started changing it to a new Wellness product: CORE Turkey, Turkey Meal & Duck http://www.wellnesspetfood.com/product-details.aspx?pet=cat&pid=132&dm=grainfree

I simply do not want to be feeding any fish - and this (seemingly unique) dry contains absolutely no fish.

The carb content (dry matter basis) is 26.5.

You might want to compare the BB Wilderness with this (new) CORE. You can get the carb content by either calling them - or, by using this http://www.scheyderweb.com/cats/catfood.html

(If you're wondering about "Dry Matter Basis" this will help: http://web.archive.org/web/20080430145309/http://www.thepetcenter.com/imtop/dm.html)
