I like to buy my cat food online because it's so convenient to have it delivered.  I'm looking at possibly switching to Wellness Core wet food, so if you know of anywhere in particular that sells that, that's a plus. But really just any websites that sell cat food would be helpful for me since I still haven't exactly made up my mind yet. So far I've only checked amazon, and the petsmart and petco websites. I know I need to broaden my horizons, but I just don't know what else is out there!

I'm also interested in possibly looking into commercial raw, but that comes frozen, right? So no buying online?

RiccaDawn,

I shop online at the only natural pet food store: http://onlynaturalpet.com and they provide a full range of foods from dry to frozen.  Buying online frozen can be expensive to ship and most folks can access raw frozen from the big Pet Store chains.  I buy RAD CAT at the pet food express store locally.

Every time I go to a website to post a link I exit this site.

Look at Wag.com, OnlyNaturalPet.com, PetFoodDirect.com, and Amazon.com for Wellness. ONP also sells raw and freeze-dried cat food.

The only problem with Amazon is I have to buy cases of 24 cans for the same thing. I need to pick out a variety first to figure out what Patricia likes, which requires being able to order one instead of a whole case.

www.doggiefood.com   has the best prices i've been able to find out of several, including amazon.  not huge differences in price, but over the months add up.  over $49 you get free shipping, over $100 they usually send you a code for 15% off.

CONS: you have to order an entire case, and if your cat doesn't like it, too bad.  you're kind of stuck because they won't take partial cases back and credit you on a different order.  then all your friends will laugh at you for having all this expensive cat food your cats won't eat.
also, not usually a last minute solution so plan ahead and don't run out of cat food.
frozen i'm not sure about.  i know they have stella and chewy's but that might be freeze-dried.

PROS:  you get better prices than in any independent pet store, which is the only place you can find a lot of the brands.  i've gone to one i've decided is responsible enough and close to me, to get individual cans and see what my cats like.  this doesn't appear to be foolproof, since what they liked when i only had one can isn't always what they like when i have 24 (or 48 lol).  a pet's paradise delivers but they charge $4 no matter the order size, and their lowest priced food is more expensive than the highest priced i get from doggiefood.

this site has consistently had the best prices since 2010, when i first started looking for greenie's online, but there are no guarantees.  they have an excellent selection of food and carry most brands.  each type has an ingredients page so you can research it (except for whether or not it's to your pet's taste) ahead of time.
