Last week I lost my sweet Gemma, the most gentle and loving Siamese who was my best friend for nearly 23 years.  I knew the end was coming closer, so I had prepared myself.  But when she became seriously ill and I had to make the decision to let her go it was still very hard.  I miss her little soft pats on my arm with her paw when she wanted my attention. She'd follow me everywhere like a little puppy and always want to be near me.  I'm still sad, crying a little as I type this message, but as the days pass I know I'll remember her but I won't be so sad and will remember all the happy times we had together.  Love you, my baby.

So very hard.... and it doesn't matter how old they are, losing them is so painful. They take a piece of our hearts with them. So sorry. :hugs: :vibes:
