Exactly.  I give it the attention it deserves.  Beneath contempt.  Common sense will protect anyone from this avoidable problem via ANY of the possible causes.  argh2.gif

Considering a third of the world presents with antibodies for Toxoplasma gondii, meaning they've already been infected, I'm really not concerned. Clearly it hasn't killed a third of us yet. laughing02.gif

So basically, the way you get this from cats is cleaning the litterbox and licking your hands clean? Sorry, I love cats, but I am NOT a cat so cleaning my hands involves soap and water, thank you!

I saw this on the news the other day. They really stressed that most people get it from food rather than cats, they also had a lady from Alley Cat Allies on talking about it. The person that ran the study was also talking about it, stressing that more research needs to be done.
