I think he is still a pup if you compare him to the size of the one in the background.  Or he might actually be a "she".  In fact I think it is a she now that I think about it because aren't seals like lions where the male has a harem of sorts?

S/he is awfully cute though! I love when s/he just crawls across her in the end and tries to lay on her lap!  lol

I don't know how she resisted. I would have had my arms wrapped around and giving hugs and rubbing that tummy!!  Judging by how affectionate it was towards here, I don't think it would have minded at all.

Um...no.  Just no.

This is a wild animal that could take the woman's head off.  I wouldn't trust a wild lion or tiger, and I wouldn't trust this animal like she has.

Yes it is sweet, but I have to agree its very dangerous.  When they touch noses, I remember the woman who lost her face to the chimp.  This could have ended badly and then the life of the seal would be in danger.

I say leave the wild animals alone and enjoy from a safe distance for the safety of the person and the animal.

And this woman (me) lost most of her upper lip, and the skin above (plus got free nose piercings in 3 places) from sticking her face next to a domesticated dog.  NEVER put your face into another animal's face.

This seal was just hanging out for a cuddle.  And the woman didn't make the moves or initiate anything, it was the seal that gently put his face up against hers. And the vibe of it all was quite lovely.

Isn't it good sometimes to go with the flow and experience without fear?

I agree - leave wild animals alone. BUT... given that she didn't, I'm glad this sweet experience was captured. :heart2:
