found this on the net

Joshua 24
15 But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD ."

that is very weird, I noticed they had alittle jesus fish and hubby noticed that they had Joshua 24:15. I wonder why they picked that.

The bible verse has the words serve, served and serving, and when you ordered from the menu, you were served pizza. That's the only connection that I know of.
It doesn't make sense.

I think they are making a statement about their religion, and not necessarily pizza. Some people do like to advertise their religious convictions anywhere they can. Perhaps this qualifies as witnessing for them.

I agree with Deb. Depending on the translation of the Bible they are using, they could just be saying that they serve pizza, but they serve the Lord first. Plus it opens up dialogue for witnessing when people ask them what they mean.

It sure is interstined. The pizza shop doesn;t look religous at all. I was really really surprised with I saw the jesus fish on teh menu, and then I was even more surprised when rich said there was a bible verse number. I guess because of the part of town we leave in (mostly catholic) it must do there business good.
