Swollen Gums

My five week old kitten has a swollen bottom gum! I've been weaning him from the KMR replacement milk and started to mix dry food with a little water... I mush it all together and put it in his bottle ...(he refuses to eat from the dish) I recently noticed he had a little bleeding from the gums,and now its swollen and almost looks like he has no bottom lip. I'm new to this does anyone know what's wrong? Or what this is called? Thanks
