What's on your Bucket List?

Just curious about things we would really want to do someday  

For me:   ride in a hot air balloon

              Take a trip on the Orient Express (I don't even know if there still is an Orient Express) -- but I was always fascinated by the

               movies and stories about this train.

I want to go to Key West and see the Hemmingway cats. My BIL lives in Homestead and we keep making the plans but something always happens and we nee to use our savings for something else. Someday...........

I want to get to Wales to look up an ancestors castle <G>, and to Sweden to see with my husband, where his family is from, and to Sicily to Bagheria, which my grandmother would describe as so so beautiful.

I thought for a while about pasting a list on the bucket.

Then I decided I's kick it around for awhile.

i want to go to Dubai...thats my dream vacation.

Get on a plane. Or conquer my fear of heights. (Same difference) lol.

I want to fly first-class on a long (overseas) trip in one of those new planes with the first-class "pods." It looks so comfy, like you have your own little private room if you want, and the seat goes down all the way so it's like a bed. Oh and I hear the flight attendants are a lot nicer in the front of the plane! Maybe someday I can justify spending thousands of dollars for that... 

I also want to visit Australia! Both could be accomplished at the same time. 

To read "War and Peace", but OMG! What a boring book!  I was on page 90 something and my ereader showed 1% of the book read!  LOL
 

I just added something to my bucket list - to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. A pastor friend of mine is leaving in a few days to begin her journey - she's raising money for the ELCA's fund for eradicating malaria. She's been training for 6 months, and she's ready to go. I'm so envious. It sounds like such a wonderful adventure!

So, that's it. I want to do it someday.

Before I die, I will swim with manatees in Florida.  That is the only thing that is financially feasible.

I've done both of these things!!! But I live in Florida. :lol3:

Mine is to take a tour of Europe. See the big cities AND the little towns, etc.

Take an around-the-world cruise on a Cunard ship.

I have an entire Pinterest board devoted to my Bucket List and things I'd love to do! Here are a few of mine:

1. Venice, Italy - this is my dream!!!
2. Visit Claude Monet's Gardens/home in Giverny, France (My favorite artist)
3. Green Day Concert
4. Own/Compete a Borzoi!
5. Visit the Holocaust memorials
6. Pet a Giraffe and stay at the Giraffe Manor Hotel, Kenya
7. Earn more titles on my dogs (Obedience, Rally, Agility) and also have my females pass their therapy tests soon so they can work like Ranger does! (Working hard on that!)
8. Attend the lantern Festival in Honolulu, Hawaii
9. Show up at the airport and buy a random ticket to anywhere I want to go! (I'm a bit too OCD for that one, but maybe one day lol)
10. Rent a glass igloo in Finland to sleep under the Northern Lights.
