my 1 year old kitty is limping

my 1 year old was crying more than usual. i ran over to pet her. just then our three year old appeared. the baby headed towards her but she was limping. later i found 2 dead rats on the deck by where the baby was lying. now she won't come out under my bed and she wont drink out of a bowl, she only licks wet fingers. my parents wont take her to the vet. HELP!!!

I would take the kitty to the vet. Not much else anyone can advise other than that. It is possible that she was bit by one of the rats :dk: but it would be silly to speculate on that. If your cat does not eat/drink and is injured, then a vet visit is the kind thing to do. Your parent's will hopefully agree.

Poor kitty, she might be frightened. And the vet is the one who can answer any physical and behavioral problems.
