Our cat died about a month ago, we only lasted two days and were in so in need of a feline family member. We adopted Duke from Simply Cats in Boise, a no kill shelter.I consider Duke to be a special needs cat since someone thought it was a good idea to front declaw him and his brother
he is a bit neurotic but slowly acclimating. He is four years old and a great comfort to my my who is terminally ill. This guy is LOUD!
and has an extensive vocabulary. He has no pedigree papers so is considered an American Short Hair....who cares...he is way cool. My 1st cat was siamese way back in the late 60s.
I just bought a male Flame Point Siamese kitten myself. He isn't incredibly vocal, except when I leave the room. Poor lil' fella got constipated earlier though... I heard his pipes then! I felt really bad for him but he eventually pooped. It was waaaay too big. I don't think he drank enough water when he first got here, b/c he was hiding in his crate.
