She is now treated for fleas and in my daughters bedroom awaiting a vetting

Why do people do this? How can you dump a baby? any animal? She is a lovely patchwork tabby and appears to be about 10 weeks or so.

Like I need another cat. How many is to many? This kitten is one of 8 now
I could not leave her out there, that makes me as bad as the people who left her to fend on her own.

Someone just tell me that I am not a crazy cat lady.

You are not a crazy cat lady.... A crazy cat hoarder lady is someone who doesn't know when to stop and can't take care of them or themselves.  If you can take care of the kitty and yourselves and you know your situation, you are fine.  It's when you can't stop that is the problem in the eyes of the law.  As long as she makes your daughter happy, I say keep her.... Just tell your daughter the next one, you will have to find another home for.

I don't know why people do this?  They are too stupid to get their cats fixed, let them breed and have babies for "The fun of it" then when it gets real and they can't find homes for them, they dump them.  Bless you for taking this poor baby in!

You are a total cat lover and we need many, many more people like you in this world. They are special creatures, each and every one of them and we can't turn our backs on the ones who were "dumped" or "laid" in our path. You are doing a wonderful thing.... is NOT crazy. :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:

Our vet visit went well with a surprise. Baby as we are calling her until my daughter picks a name is about 4 months old!!! She has adult canines already. She is seriously tiny!!!! Her Lukemia/FIV came back negative YAY!!!!!

I was getting worried that she had not used a litter pan in almost 24 hours, vet said if she was starving then no bm is not unusual and she finally urinated. Who would have thought I would be relieved over cat pee/poo? LOL

I had her wormed and we will go back in 3 weeks to start shots.

My boyfriend and his mother have nicknamed me the 'crazy cat lady' and joke about how I need a kitty intervention!
Had a momma cat in April who gave birth to 5 kittens (all but one adopted now), rescued another litter of 3 kittens (all adopted), then ANOTHER litter of four kittens and their feral momma (3 kittens adopted and momma is spayed and rabies vaccinated). Then just recently I rescued 5 more kittens from a horrible drop off site in my town, ranging anywhere from 3-6 weeks old. It's sooooo sad. And these are just my rescues.. thats not even counting my actual kitties!!!

You have a heart and are doing a wonderful thing rescuing these babies!!

And yaaaay for negative test results!
