I haven't read the article yet but I'm about to. The kitten food is a great idea. My feral doesn't eat a whole lot during the heat either. I'm gonna buy some kitten food for her tomorrow. Thanks for the info kittylover23When saying ferals I meant the socialized ones, like Lucky and Sassy.Should have specified. I definitely would not be able to catch the "feral" ferals. I also put ice in their bowls, except I don't buy the bags so I have four ice cube trays that I constantly refill in my freezer.I also give them kitten food in hot weather, since sometimes they don't feel like eating because of the heat and kitten food is more appetizing. I have many cool shelters and "kitty hangouts" for hot days.
